This position is located at the New Sunrise Regional Treatment Center (NSRTC) in Acoma, NM. The purpose of this position is to perform journeyman-level maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, exterior structures, related fixtures, and utility systems within the healthcare facilities and/or quarters. The position requires the regular and recurring application of multiple skilled trades in support of patient care, staff operations, and facility safety.

Major Duties

• Perform journeyman-level installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility systems and components across multiple trades, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, HVAC, and related building systems. Install, inspect, repair, and maintain plumbing, piping, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), mechanical equipment, and electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and code-compliant facility operations. Construct, modify, and repair structural and non-structural building components, including doors, windows, walls, flooring, cabinetry, and finishes; prepare and paint interior and exterior surfaces to maintain appearance and functionality. Perform exterior facility maintenance, including grounds, drainage, fencing, walkways, irrigation systems, snow and ice removal, and other related trades such as minor roofing, concrete, locksmithing, and light welding as needed.
