Rocket Lab, founded in 2006 by Peter Beck and headquartered in Long Beach, California, builds and launches the Electron small rocket, is developing the larger reusable Neutron rocket, and manufactures satellites and spacecraft components. It operates launch sites on the Mahia Peninsula in New Zealand and at Wallops Island, Virginia. Maintenance work spans its Long Beach rocket production complex and engine development center, other US manufacturing sites, and its launch complexes.
