Army National Guard Units

Army National Guard units are the state-based ground component of the National Guard, serving both state governors and the federal government across all 50 states, three territories, and the District of Columbia. Most of the Guard's maintenance jobs are dual-status military technician positions: federal civilian employment under Title 32 that requires concurrent membership in the state's National Guard. These technicians work at surface maintenance shops, field maintenance facilities, and armories, repairing combat vehicles, tactical trucks, and other equipment issued to Guard units.
