Industrial Electric Manufacturing (IEM), founded in the mid-1940s and headquartered in Fremont, California, is a large independent full-line manufacturer of custom electrical power distribution equipment, including low-voltage switchboards, medium-voltage metal-clad switchgear, power distribution units, and walk-in enclosures. Its products serve data centers, healthcare, utilities, manufacturing, and commercial construction. The company operates more than 1.5 million square feet of manufacturing capacity, with plants in California and operations extending across the U.S. and into Canada, where maintenance work centers on fabrication and assembly equipment.
