Air Force Global Strike Command

Air Force Global Strike Command, headquartered at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, is responsible for two legs of the U.S. nuclear triad, operating the Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile force and the B-52 and B-2 strategic bomber fleets. The command comprises more than 33,700 Airmen and civilians at bases across the country. Federal civilian employees support its installations in roles that include facilities maintenance, utility systems, and base physical plant work.
