About the Role
Under the supervision of Chief and/or Assistant Chief Engineer, the HVAC Mechanic performs functions and duties that do not require the expertise of a Stationary Engineer.
Supports the implementation and documentation of site safety plans and all ABM Engineering Services’ operational standards and guidelines as well as site specific standards, policies and procedures relating to the engineering department.
Preferred candidate is proficient and experienced in diagnosis and troubleshooting of HVAC electrical control systems, motors and components. Preferred experience in repairs/replacement of compressors, TXVs, refrigerant lines and the reclamation of refrigerant.
